Michael Yang · Head Instructor · Atlanta
Train smarter.
Play harder.
Level up.
You already know something's off. The ball keeps popping up, the same point keeps getting away from you, and nobody can tell you why. I coach the part that answers that — with camera data, not guesses.
About
Hey, I'm Mike
Most pickleball instruction tells you what to do. Almost none of it tells you why, or how to know when. That gap is where players get stuck — hitting the same shot into the same net for two seasons and calling it practice.
I coach the decision-making layer: court positioning, shot selection, high-percentage play. Then I back it up with camera data so you can actually see what changed. Not vibes. Numbers. Let me break this down for you.
The flagship · 6-month program
Road to 4.0
Here's the problem with one-off lessons: you leave with three things to fix, you work on them for a week, then league night happens and it's gone. Nothing is tracking whether you actually changed. This is the program that tracks it.
Ratings
Court IQ, Targeting, Offense, Defense — tracked month one against month six, so improvement is a line, not a feeling.
Shot execution matrix
Deep serve, third-shot drop, reset, roll, drive, volley, dink. Where you started and what you gained.
Shot IQ + overall
The monthly number. And the strategic read a camera can't give you — that part's me.
Every month, you get
In-person lessons
Roughly every other week, coached at your cohort level.
Games analyzed
Up to four of your real games, broken down individually — not as a group.
Personal dashboard
Your own live page. Ratings, shot mix, and what to fix next.
Drill plan built for you
Personalized, updated as your numbers move. Not a generic handout.
Portal access
Cues, session sheets, and your full game history in one place.
Cost for your first assessment

Recent breakdowns
Pickleball tips that actually explain the why. Every guide comes out of a real point — why it works, when to use it, and what better players see that you don't yet.
